Founded in 2001, Healing Hearts Across Borders is a non-profit organization that provides medical care to under-resourced communities in Tijuana, Mexico. HHAB was started by Dr. Kevin Lake in partnership with La Roca Ministries. Our clinics bring together physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, translators, and students with a common interest to help those in need.

Clinics operate on a monthly basis. Our locations in Tijuana include La Roca Mens Shelter and the David Lynch Elementary School and Community Center. In addition to medical care, personal care items and clothing are made available to patients. 

 

As a registered 501(c3)non-profit organization, all monetary or other donations are tax deductible. We welcome monetary donations through our website and are always seeking additional volunteers to expand the breadth of care we can offer.

Dr. Kevin Lake's wife, Dr. Suzanne Lake, has been with the organization since its founding and continues to donate to HHAB every year in Kevin's memory.
